Notes:

Spore print: deep "fulvous".

Note: Phillips photo shows a more streaky cap.

Cap: slightly greenish "buff", sticky.

Stipe: pale "saffron" below, clavate, base "C" to white, sticky just below ring zone.

Gills: "hazel" when young, crowded, ventricose.

Flesh: "C" in cap, pale saffron in stem; whitish at top of stem and centre of cap.

Cutcile tastes mild, but cap flesh and gills are bitter.

Spores: 7.5-8.5/5.5-7µm, yellow brown, broadly pruniform, punctate on face, slightly rough on outline under oil.

Basidia: 4-spored.

Gill edge: fertile, with protruding cheilocystidia, 54-80/9-11.5µm, lageniform, fusiform, etc.
