Notes:

Apothecium glabrous, rather hard, attached by small central peg.

Ripe asci protruding above hymenium.

Excipulum of tangled filamentous hyphae.

Spores biseriate, narrowly fusiform-allantoid or broader at one end or bent at broad end, with 1-2 large and 2-4 smaller oil drops, 13-17/4-5.5µm, some sepate.

Asci not blued in iodine.

Paraphyses narrowly cylindric, 2µm diam, sparsely forked at base, brown in iodine.
