Notes:

Ascus tips not blued in Melzer’s Iodine.

Ascospores: ellipsoid, 17-19/9-11µm with reticulate ornamentation that stains strongly in cotton blue.

Paraphyses: cylindric with narrowly clavate heads, 7-9µm diam.; contents with abundant orange granules that stain greenish grey in iodine; many with mucilaginous caps that stain weakly in cotton blue.
