Notes:

There were several spawning patches, each containing several to many large worms swimming through the shallow water releasing milt. The seagulls were having a field day diving for them.

The worms often swam into weed when their path became obstructed; they then stopped swimming and just waited for the seagulls to find them. If released from the weed they continued swimming.
