Notes:

Sections of dark prothallus margin.

Under the microscope the ascus tips are not stained blue in Melzer’s Iodine (although some blue staining in lower half of the hymenium), and it has 1-septate ascospores. Paraphyses worm-like, hyaline, cylindric with tips darkly agglutinated.
