Notes:

Macroscopically resembles E. glaucobasis but has cheilocystidia.

Spores wrong for mougeotii.

Cap: brown, opaque, blue tinged around margin.

Stipe: smokey, blue at base, fibrillose, squamulose below.

Gills: partly edged bluish.

Spores: 8.5-10.5/6.5-7µm.

Gill edge: infertile, with repent, narrowly clavate to cylindric or lageniform cells.
