Associated organism: on live plant of Crateagus monogyna
Identification Notes: At 14:30 BST on very hot day, the larvae had retreated to the centre of their webs, were inactive and secreted a droplet of red fluid which they held from their mouthparts. By 16:45, when it had cooled down a bit, they had moved out towards the edge of the web and were active.
