Notes:

Stalk: short, sparsely hairy.

Sclerotia: pale yellowish brown, 1-1.5/0.7mm, occasionally with a few hairs, with well-defined cell structure.

Sometimes more than one fruitbody growing from a single sclerotium.

Basidia: 4-spored.

Basidiospores: 8-11/5-6µm, non-amyloid

Fruitbody with a central strand of hyaline, parallel hyphae 3-6µm diam. sparsely septate, swollen at some septa, not clamped but junctions often diagonal.

Hymenium with cubic or octohedral crystals.
