BioInfoBioInfo (www.bioinfo.org.uk) has 1 host/parasite/foodplant and/or other relationships for Entoloma ameides (a toadstool)

A medium-sized brown Entoloma, distinctive because of its strong smell of "burnt sugar", although this can veer towards cyanide or mothballs. It is widespread in unimproved grassland, meadows and hayfields.

Distinguished by the "burnt sugar" smell, although this can veer towards cyanide or mothballs.

E. sacchariolens shares the smell but differs in slightly darker colours and abundant cheilocystidia giving a sterile or heterogenous gill edge. It also has a more strongly shining-lustrous cap.
