Notes:

Cells: subspherical, 9-15µm diam. With small papilla bearing two flagella. Single red eye-spot just behind the papilla.

Chloroplast parietal, cup-shaped, grass-green.

Pyrenoid not seen. Iodine stains the chloroplast brownish.
