Notes:

Several heavily-infected trees and saplings of Acer platanoides but no infection on nearby Acer pseudoplatanus.

Cleistothecia with c. 6-7 asci, asci 8-spored.

Some cleistothecia with aerial hyphae.

Aerial hyphae: hyaline, with curled tips and/or forked.
