Notes:

Ascospores: pale sepia, slightly roughened, tapered fusiform with rounded ends, 21/5µm, 4-septate; first cell the longest, followed by the second cell which is also often noticeably broader than its neighbours.

Ascus: 8-spored, bi-seriate, apical apparatus unchanged in Meltzer’s Iodine.
