Notes:

Dark blackish-brown, round or elliptical leaf-spots 1-1.5mm diam, on green, yellowing or brown leaf.

Wet black spores visible on leaf hairs.

Embedded, black, mainly epiphyllous pseudothecia clustered in the centre of the spots.

Ascospores 12-14/5.5-6µm, grey, two-celled, the upper cell larger.
