Notes:

Host was a hybrid oak sapling, with whiskered leaf-buds.

Cleistothecia mainly epiphyllous, patchy, hyphal system well-developed so that leaf appears white over large areas, especially veins and gullies.

Asci: several. Ascospores: many.
