Notes:

Leaves with black glands mainly along edges, no translucent glands; glabrous beneath.

Stem with four raised line: two strong (from the midribs of the leaf pair immediately above) and two weak (from the midribs of the alternately arranged leaf pair above them) which rapidly fade before the next node.

Upper branches at 45° to stem, lower branches more spreading.

Calyx: four or five persistant green recurved sepals, 1.5-2mm wide, with smooth margins and pointed, with apiculate, often denticulate apices which curl over so they appear blunt. Sepals with black dots and lines and translucent glands.
