| Review (by Malcolm Storey) | Four Gelis parasitoid species (G. agilis, G. areator, G. hortensis & G. proximus) produce sulcatone. The three wingless species were rejected by wolf-spiders, but G. areator was not. Perhaps this is because they were more effective ant mimics? |
