Notes:

Under Grey Sallow and birch; Rowan, Sweet Chestnut, Oak and Ash nearby.

Smell: none intact, strongly bitter almonds on cutting.

Taste: gills hot, cap flesh and cuticle mild.

Stipe hard, splitting transversely internally to become chambered.

Stipe flesh white, yellowish with KOH.

Cap flesh: white, unchanged with KOH.

Spore print: D.

Spores: 8/7µm, amyloid warts up to 0.75µm, connectives few to forming a partial reticulum.
