Notes:

Cuticle: rich brown, septate, clamped, filamentous hyphae, c. 5µm diam., thick-walled with lumen tapering to nothing before rounded apex; erect and joined together to form a hard crust.

Trama: almost colourless, septate, clamped, filamentous, often sinuous, thin-walled hyphae, c. 4µm diam.

Spores: hyaline, 6-6.5/3µm.
