Notes:

Spore print: purplish black becoming black when scraped.

Gill edge with narrowly lageniform cheilocystidia, some with wiggly apices, without chrysocystidia.

Gill face with numerous utriform chrysocystidia, with large body staining yellow in ammonia.

Spores: smooth, 11.5-13.5/6.5-7.5µm, germ pore c. 1.2µm diam., purplish brown in water, turning brown in KOH.
