Notes:

Erumpent black pycnidia in rows on dead needle; mainly on the long narrow needles. Pycnidia containing only conidiophores c. 40/2-3µm. Conidia absent (collected during dry spell).

With ellipsoid, flat, shiny, black, ascocarps mainly on the short, broad needles. (Lophodermium juniperinum?)
