Notes:

Uredia: hypophyllous, orange, dusty pustules covered in verruculose uredospores and retaining clavate, thick-walled uredoparaphyses.

Telia: dull orange-brown becoming dark brown or black, smooth, hypophyllous, flat cushions consisting of a pallisade of cylindroprismatic teliospores.
