Notes:

Uredia: amphigenous on leaves, pustulate, cinnamon, surface irregular, erumpent with marginal flaps of leaf epidermis.

Uredospores: wall finely echinulate, with 3 very evident pores.

Telia: on stems, pustulate, erumpent through slit in epidermis, neatly domed with shining tips of spores visible under binocular microscope.

Teliospores: single-celled, wall smooth and thickened at apex, with apical pore, pedicel persistent and sometimes yellow pigmented.
