Notes:

Leaf spots: above - pale brown with white centres and 0-13 blackish pycnidia; with purple border with diffuse outer margin, occasionally a second diffuse purple ring a small distance outside the leaf spot; underside - pale brown with white centre, no purple border.

Some spots with green borders. Groups of spots at leaf tips with more extensive purple colouration.

Conidia: hyaline, narrowly cylindric, 20-40(42)/1µm, 1-4(5) septate.

[This appears to be a Septoria and on Polemonium, but have yet to find a description of this species.]
