Notes:

Leaf spots: papery, brown, but not the rich chestnut brown this species usually shows; some with green halo within; with abundant black pycnidia, visible from both leaf surfaces, but mainly above; border often yellowish above; below similar but duller colour. Often restricted by veins.

Conidia: hyaline, clavate to oblong, 13-17/8-10.5µm.
