Notes:

Upper surface: with pale brown spots, 2.5-5mm diam. The spots are paler towards centre or sometimes with a dark spot or ring. The spots are thinner than the leaf (internal tissues collapsed) so the margin is stepped, but sometimes diffuse. Veins in spot and immediate surrounding area often darkened. With many brown dots which are leaf cells with brown contents.

Under surface: similar to upper surface, but no step. Leaf hairs with cells with brown contents.

After a few days in fridsge, the under surface has superficial mycelium of hyaline hyphae.

Conidia: narrowly cylindric, 12-30(38)/3-5µm, 0-2 septate.
