Notes:

Leaves spotted with minute, brown, amphigenous uredia on small yellow spots with diffuse margins. Telia minute, amphigenous, scattered, similar to uredia, but darker brown to black and without the yellow spot. Uredia and telia very similar.

Uredospores: ±globose, echinulate, brown with two supra-equatorial pores. Spores slow to inflate in lactophenol.

Teiospores: brown, two-celled, smooth. Spores slow to inflate in lactophenol.
