Notes:

Leaf-spots up to 11mm diam, sometimes abundant enough to kill the leaf; grey above, with pale centres peppered with fine, short dark brown lines and spots; with a thin dark line around the outside; some with concentric zonation. Underside similar but with better developed maze-like brown lines and triangles but without zonation; white-spotted from tufts of hyaline conidiophores emerging through the stomata.

Conidia: narrowly cylindric, 8-30/2-3µm, with cicatrised scars at each end, becoming 1-septate.
