Notes:

Uredia in scattered small groups, bright orange-yellow, hypophyllous. Leaf upper surface with corresponding orange sunken spot.

Uredo-paraphyses: abundant, clavate to spathulate, heads 20-30µm diam. Uredospores: thick (4µm) walled.

Second collection 17 Oct 2007 to check telia.

Telia: epiphyllous, small dark orange patches; teliospores in a hymeniform, subcuticular palisade. Very soft and unable to get a lateral view to confirm wall thickness.
