Notes:

Uredia punctiform with apical pore, hypophyllous, in patches, eventually covering much of leaf underside; occasionally in lines along base of inflorescence branches. Leaf upper surface with faded yellowish, unbounded spots above.

Uredospores: echinulate, clavate to amygdaliform or ellipsoid, 18-26/13-14µm, with yellow granular contents, hyaline in some uredia.

Telia: pale brown, subepidermal in brown spots.
