Notes:

Uredia: mainly epiphyllous, punctate or linear, orange.

Uredospores: globose to oblong, 18-26/18-20.5µm, thick-walled (c. 2µm), punctate on face and outline under x40 objective, with golden yellow granular contents.

Telia: raised, blackish blisters. on leaf sheath and base.

Teliospores: rich brown under microscope, two-celled, upper cell crested.
