Notes:

Stipe: entirely pruinose, with basal bulb.

Smell: spermatic.

Basidia: 4-spored.

Spores: narrowly amygdaliform, 8-9.5/4.5-5µm.

Gill edge: with thick-walled, narrowly fusiform, crystal-tipped, metuloid cheilocystidia, 60-67/12.5-17µm, plus clavate paracystidia.

Pleurocystidia: 60-70/13-15.5µm, metuloid, crystal-tipped, clamped at the base.

Cystidia slowly becoming yellow in ammonia.Caulocystida in upper stipe: similar, more cylindric, mixed with clavate cells.

Lower stipe with clamped, hyaline, cylindric hyphae 2-8µm diam with occasional clavate or long cylindric cell but these thin-walled.
