Notes:

Cap: fibrillose, bruising reddish.

Stipe: yellowish, pink at base.

Gills: bruising pink.

Flesh: pink in cap, white in stem, ± unchanging.

Smell: spermatic, very slightly fruity.

Spore print: "cigar brown"

Basidia: 4-spored.

Basidiospores: 11-12.5/6-7µm, ellipsoid-phaseoliform

Cheilocystidia: thin-walled, clavate, abundant.

Metuloids: absent.
