Notes:

Spore print: white, strongly amyloid.

Basidia: 4-spored.

Spores: 3-6/1µm, acicular, curved.

Pileocystidia: very abundant, clamped at base, clavate, with violet vacuolar pigment.

Caulocystidia: similar, often agglutinated.

Pleurocystidia: abundant, clavate, with yellow-brown contents.

Cheilocystidia: smaller, lining gill edge, hyaline, often encrusted.
