Notes:

Flesh strongly reddening.

Stipe: floccose below.

Ring: double; with small scales or cog wheel at margin; brownish on underside.

Spores: 5-6/3.5-3.7µm

Basidia: 4-spored.

Spore print: cigar brown.

Cheilocystidia: abundant, clavate (6.5-11.5µm diam), occasionally cylindric to lageniform.
