Hygrocybe aurantiosplendens R. Haller Aar., 1954 (Orange Waxcap)

Notes (MWS) A medium-sized, orange-yellow to orange-red waxcap with a sticky, slightly hygrophanous and pellucid-striate cap and a dry stipe which is often covered with a white pruina. A rare species of unimproved grassland, it has also been found in decidous woodland and scrub.
