Podosphaera pannosa (Wallr.) de Bary, 1870 (a conidial powdery mildew)

Notes (MWS) A powdery mildew mainly found on Roses where it forms white to grey felty patches on leaves and stems. Cleistothecia are rarely formed.
Pers. Comm. Since the mid '90's it has become increasingly common on Cherry Laurel (Prunus laurocerasus), far more frequent than Podosphaeria tridactyla. [Brian Spooner, pers comm.]
