Resinomycena saccharifera (Berk. & Broome) Redhead, 1984 (a toadstool)

Notes (MWS) A small white Mycena-like fungus which grows in troops on dead debris of marsh plants, especially *Molinia caerulea*, but also *Carex* and *Rubus* spp. It is pubescent, has a large cap for the size of stipe and a small basal bulb. It is widespread and not uncommon, but seldom recorded because it grows at the base of marsh plants.
