| Identification Notes: |
Cap: hard, finely tomentose. Stipe: scabrae only rusty. Flesh: vinaceous tinged after 5 minutes, becoming slate after 15 minutes. Caulocystidia: clavate to fusiform or even lageniform with brown contents, occasional spheropedunculate cells up to 35µm diam; generally broader in mid-stipe than at apex. Kibby: BIKP |
