Further Information

Notes (MWS) A small sombre brown toadstool with a dark brown cap and decurrent greyish brown gills. The stipe is yellow at the base when young, but soon becomes dull brown, although remaining paler than the cap. It is a rare toadstool of unimproved grassland.
