Fungal Portraits No. 26: Cortinarius argutus

An account of this rare or overlooked Cortinarius which should be looked for under Aspen or other poplars. Although a member of subgenus Phlegmacium, it could be mistaken for a paler member of Vibratiles section of Myxacium (or even a Hebeloma).
