Hemimycena tortuosa (P.D. Orton) Redhead, 1980 (Dewdrop Bonnet)

Notes (MWS) A tiny white toadstool that grows on fallen broadleaved wood in wet places. When first found it is often covered with minute water droplets. Under the microscope it is distinguished by the hyaline spiral hairs that cover the cap and stem. It is quite common, at least in the south of England.
