Lachnum controversum (Cooke) Rehm, 1889 (a discomycete)

Notes (MWS) A small pale pinkish buff discomycete drying reddish brown, fringed with white or pale yellow hairs. It is very cmmon on dead stems of *Phragmites*, and several other grasses.
