Melanotus phillipsii (Berk. & Broome) Singer, 1973 (Grass Oysterling)

Notes (MWS) A small laterally-stiped toadstool which grows on standing dead stems of *Carex riparius*. Known only from the type locality in Norfolk, although probably widespread there and probably missed in other areas because the habitat is rarely visited.
