Meconopsis cambrica (L.) Viguier (Welsh Poppy)

Wildlife Gardening Often grown as a wildflower but isn't really native over most of Britain.

Can be hard to establish on chalky soils and very invasive on acid soils. It has a deep rootstock which is difficult to remove.
