Record Summary: on florets of Field Scabious
Associated organism: on live corolla of Knautia arvensis
Identification Notes: Oospores: embedded in corolla tissues, epispore thick, pale at first, becoming brown and irregularly plicate.

Sporangia: ellipsoid to ovoid, hyaline when young and weakly cyanophilic, becoming violaceous grey-brown and acyanophilic, 33-42/19-24µm.

Sporangiophores: erect, branched at apex, with swollen base and patch of cyanophilic material attached.
