Leaf lamina upper surface with small yellow spots with diffuse borders and grey centres. As they age the tissue dies to form a depressed grey spot.
Lamina lower surface with rough, spherical black colonies arranged in clusters on the leaf spots, eventually covering most of leaf. Infection evenly distributed over whole leaflet.
Petiole unaffected, but lamina eventually turning yellow and dying.
Conidia: grey, smooth, thin-walled, 1-septate, amygdaliform, 16.5-20.5/10-13µm.
Conidiophores: grey, sinuous, 5µm diam, arising from swollen 10µm diam base with septum below. |
