Stemphylium state.
Conidia: 55-85/13-23µm, brown, verruculose, cylindric or slightly broader below, muriform, usually constricted at 3 major septa; apex rounded, sometimes with small pale or hyaline, oblique protruberance.
Conidiophore: cylindric, pale grey-brown, septate, apex dark banded, swollen, collapsing to form a cup after conidium discharged, often swollen and/or dark banded below.
Upper leaves were infected with Albugo lepigoni, the sporangia of which contaminated the microscope preps. |
