Preserve in 70% ethanol with 10% glycerol added, or in propylene phenoxytol. Examine and dissect in glycerol. Glycerine jelly is recommended for pemanent microscope preps. Staining with rose Bengal (a.K.A. Acid Red 94, Food Red 95 sodium salt) aids sorting and dissection. |
