Piptoporus quercinus and Armillaria ectypa reported from Scotland. Armillaria ectypa also refound in Westmorland. Squamanita paradoxa in North Hants.

Two Clitocybes are added to the British list: C. collina from St. Catherine's Hill, Winchester, Hants and C. trulliformis from Holmsley, N.E.Yorks.

A large fairy ring of Amanita muscaria is described and it's cause, although pondered over, remains unexplained.

Other rare or overlooked fungi mentioned include: Hypochnicium wakefieldiae, Marasmius limosus, Chromelosporium terrestre.
