Reviews the state of knowledge of Caddisflies in Great Britain at the time.

There are useful sections on fieldcraft, literature (including the identification errors likely to arise using the different works), preservation, synonymy and for each species: ecology, distribution and threat status.

The final section lists the anticipated species for each of a couple of dozen habitat types, although these appear to be summarised from a database rather than a rigorous habitat classification.
